Built in 1968, the boys’ dorm on the campus of ASU-Beebe was demolished Tuesday, May 22, 2012, after about 44-years of use as the only boys’ dormitory on campus. It was a 16,096 sq. ft. building with central heat and window air condition. It featured cinder block interiors and 44 rooms with 87 beds. Chancellor Dr. Eugene McKay was one a hall director there.

Horizon and Legacy residence halls at ASU-Beebe were opened last August and house a total of 248 students. Each co-ed building has 28,610 sq. ft. and offer single and double suites to students.  The new residence halls even offer computer labs, media rooms, laundry, and five study rooms.

The campus of ASU-Beebe has come a long way in the past several years.
