What’s Left?
May 24th, 2012 | By admin | Category: OpinionWell, the BHS Class of 2012 had a wonderful night for graduation Friday. The weather was perfect - not too hot - not too cool and no wind. It was perfect.
As I was sitting there, taking the occasional picture of the graduation ceremony, I thought about our school district and our school campus. I bet, if there were some sort of contest for best school campus and even scholastically, I believe our school district would rank right up there in the top 10% in the country. It is very nice and one of our best assets. Right now, I believe the size of our school district is perfect - not too big and not too small. I like that the graduating class seems to be very close and you can’t get that when you have a larger class size. And when the class size is smaller, I believe it is hard to get a good academically challenging environment. You have to have some competition.
Anyway, it was a good night for family, friends, graduates and faculty.
I wish the Class of 2012 the best of luck in the future!
And - as they said at graduation, “If your dreams don’t scare you a little - you’re not dreaming big enough!
Go to your happy place!
See you next week!
