Happy Mother’s Day  this Sunday to all you mothers and soon to be mothers and mothers to be in a few years! I was a mother at such a young age, I didn’t have time to think about how it would change my life. I had Christian when I was 19 1/2 - which was great for my body but not so good for him because he had a stupid young mother. I loved him immensely - but looking back I see where I made numerous mistakes - but hopefully the love made up for some of it. I think being a mother is by far the hardest thing anyone could ever do.  I mean it’s a job that never ends (at least you hope it doesn’t) but it is also the greatest thing. Think about it - you create a life! That’s incredible! Children bring you such joy and heartache. Nothing can touch you as much as one of your children. I only have one child but always intended to have eleven children. I don’t know where I came up with that number and my mom says she never remembers me saying I wanted eleven children. But I do think it is difficult to give that many children enough time and love - so many 3 or 4 would have been more practical. I guess I made up for it with my cats. Let’s see, by my calculations, one child equals about 10 cats….. So, I have my “children” - and I’m happy! Boy, would I hate to try to send 11 children to college! Cats - well, they’re happy to just lay around and let you wait on them. Boy, life becomes so clear as you get older…. ha!

Back to motherhood. I hope you make sure your moms’ have a great Mother’s Day! Not sure what we’re going to do for my mom. But we’re going to do something fun!

Go to your happy place!

See you next week!
