Beebe Police Captain Eddie Cullum reported that on March 10th, at 11:30 p.m., the Beebe Police Department was notified of suspicious activity taking place at a vacant residence located at 302 South Lemon Street. Beebe Patrol Officers Brett Shippee, John Weeks and Robert Puckett responded to the scene. The officers located three men inside the home who were in the process of manufacturing the Schedule II Controlled Substance - “Methamphetamine”. The three Beebe men arrested were: Ross B. Floyd, 41, of 213 N. Hickory St., Rodney R. Fletcher, 44, of 919 S. Apple St. and Bryan K. Henley, 42, of 1804 Orangewood Cove.
The Central Arkansas Drug Task Force (CADTF) assisted in the seizure of hazardous chemicals and narcotic drug paraphernalia from the residence. The home had been recently sold and the decision to demolish the structure had already been made. Floyd, Fletcher and Henley were charged with “Criminal Trespass”, “Manufacturing Methamphetamine” and “Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.” They were transported to the White County Detention Center in Searcy and held in lieu of a $50,000 bond each according to Captain Cullum.
An additional narcotics arrest took place after the CADTF executed a Search and Seizure Warrant at 609 E. Mississippi Street-Apt “A” on March 13th, 2012. Officers seized approximately 16 grams of “Crack” cocaine with a street value of $1,600.00, $525.00 in cash and items of drug paraphernalia. The Beebe P.D. narcotics section had assisted in the investigation and Brian Harshaw, 41, of Beebe was arrested for “Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Purpose to Deliver and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia”. Harshaw was transported to the White County Detention Center and incarcerated in lieu of a $15,000.00 bond.
