2012 Career Fair at ASU-Beebe is March 11th
Mar 8th, 2012 | By admin | Category: EducationBEEBE, Ark-Arkansas State University-Beebe will be sponsoring the annual Career Fair Tuesday, March 13, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Owen Center gymnasium on the Beebe campus.
Hosted by ASU-Beebe’s Student Success Center, this annual event will welcome many potential employers, who will provide career information, internship opportunities, and visit with students about educational requirements for certain jobs. Moreover, networking opportunities, such as this Career Fair, often benefit students and employers in future employment success.
Over 20 vendors from the central Arkansas area will be available to answer questions and provide information in searching for employment. Employers are looking for applicants from different backgrounds with various skills, including criminal justice, business, marketing, computer information, health, customer service, education, sciences, and more. Students interested in pursuing graduate school will also have the opportunity to meet with representatives from area universities.
Additionally, the Department of Workforce Services in Searcy will make their Mobile Unit available for students needing resume assistance, as well as patrons looking to complete a Career Readiness Certificate. The Mobile Unit will be easily accessible in front of the Owen Center on the ASU-Beebe campus.
