Recently, Beebe High School’s AFJROTC traveled to Jackson, Tennessee to compete in a drill competition. Senior C/Maj Josh Cross lead the teams four days a week in rigorous practices. They competed in many different divisions. Under the command of Junior C/1Lt Tanner Matone, the armed regulation team used their long practices and eye for detail to achieve second place. After many, many hours of planning their script, the unarmed exhibition team, commanded by sophomore C/1Lt Stephane Benton, executed their way to second place. All of the teams worked hard and did an outstanding job. They now prepare to compete in North Little Rock on March 6.
