Participants in the Arkansas State University-Beebe Sigma Six program are pictured from above: Steve Lewis, Roger Adamson, Scott Follett, Carey Maples, ASU-Searcy Workforce Training Coordinator Todd Hunter,  Brian Burch, and Jacob Burns.  The students attended the certification on the Searcy campus and received their green belt in Six Sigma, which is a 80-hour Green Belt Certification course spanning 10 weeks in a small class size learning environment.  This professional development is designed for organizations that want to develop employees to be supply chain, logistics, and problem solving experts.  The participants complete rigorous training while completing an actual improvement project in the workplace.  The end result is an effectively completed improvement initiative and Green Belt Six Sigma certification from Arkansas State University-Beebe , as well as  complete preparation to take the ASQ Green Belt certification test.  Hours completed in the Green Belt course can then be applied to the upcoming Black Belt certification course.  The Black Belt certification course is scheduled to begin in February.  For more information, contact Todd Hunter (501) 207-6230.
