The City of McRae recently received a grant from the DFA/ Intergovernmental Service for a new 2011 Dodge Charger in the sum of $22,337.00  and the McRae Police Department was able to equip the cruiser with the appropriate equipment in the amount of $4,588.29 through Fleet Safety out of North Little Rock,  AR.

The grant was written by Miss Frankie Miller and Lt. Jon Underwood of the McRae Police Dept.

The City is very grateful to the Intergovernmental official for this grant because the city was in desperate need of  the vehicle to support the health and welfare of both our officers and the residents of our community.
