What’s Left?

Can you believe this weather? It has been picture perfect for the past week and maybe two. The forecasters say that it will be pretty all this week and into next week. It’s great fall football weather.  I love it. And speaking of football - it was a great Razorback win Saturday and a great Badger win Friday night! We watched the Razorback game on television as many of you did and lo and behold, the last 2 or 3 minutes of the game - suddenly ESPN suddenly ended the signal or lost the signal. We had one of those signs that come up on the screen saying this event was not available in our locality. What? We knew it had been and should have been until the end of the game. At least it wasn’t one we paid for. We all had to go outside because that is where the radio was set up where we heard the last exciting minutes of the game. When the signal initially went off, we moved the channels up a couple and down a couple but did not find the game and the signal did not come back. However, an apparently smarter friend of mine, said, “Well, I just moved the channels up a few on the ESPN channels and there it was. We didn’t think to do that - and I don’t know why we didn’t? I will next time. Although, I watched a total of about one quarter of the game - spread throughout - and that is about all I am good for because I just can’t sit there and watch something that long. Or maybe it’s just football. Anyway, I was real happy we won both games! Go Badgers! Go Razorbacks!

I got my hair cut - all off - the other day. Just warning those of you who haven’t seen me. I like it. I’m letting my gray grow out (yes - I have lots of gray). I figure it’s time. I will be turning 60 in a couple of months and I’m just tired of coloring it. My hair said, “I want to do it natural.” And you know, when your hair talks to you - you better listen.

Have a great week! Go to your happy place!

See you next week!
