What’s Left?

Hasn’t the weather been great?  Each day you go outside and say, “It’s really great to be alive today!”  That is the great thing about fall in Arkansas. I don’t really believe you would appreciate the great days if you lived in Florida or somewhere the weather didn’t change very much. It’s just good to have four seasons here - although here in the past year or two - the weather has been crazy all over the U.S. I just pray that we have a mild winter with just a small amount of snow. Afterall, that is what we are supposed to have here in Arkansas. I like to see snow fall  but am not that much on closed roads, schools, etc. I get cabin fever in about 30 minutes if I think I cannot go anywhere.  We shall see.

The Badgers are doing pretty well. That is great! Go Badgers!

I’m planning a short vacation to Gulf Shores - my first in eight years. It will be fun. I just go for a very few days but it will be good to get away. I’ll tell you all about it when I get back. But we’re not going for a few weeks. Hopefully no hurricanes will move in - although that would be exciting - I believe I can do without that.

My cats and dogs are driving me crazy. The past week, I’ve gotten three scratches on my face from one kitten. He’s not mean he just startles easy and if you have your hands on him - you are the target of his claw wrath. I’m just happy I didn’t get scratched in the eye. Maybe I should wear safety glasses….

Usually, the only time I get scratched is when I step on someone’s tail or when I’m trying to give them medicine. But I never go through a week where I haven’t gotten at least one scratch but they are generally on my hands or legs - not my face. My dogs are happy about the fall weather and having fun with new bales of straw I put out for them to play in. It’s fun watching them.  I hope you are having a great fall and looking forward to Fall Fest, Halloween and then Christmas - yes, Christmas…

Wow! Where does the time go?

Go to your happy place!

See you next week.
