What’s Left?May 19th, 2011 | By admin | Category: Opinion
Well, this is a big week for my family as my youngest niece is getting married this weekend. We are all so excited! Pray that the rain goes away by Sunday! But - even if it does rain, it will be a great wedding. We are all so happy for Hannah and Adam. They are such a cute couple. I will have to focus on “being good” and not crying. For some reason, weddings make me cry. I’m not sad - just emotional at the ones that involve my family members. I don’t know why. As far as “being good” that involves not getting into any “discussions” with anyone about any of the accommodations, seating, etc. You know me. But the event center where it will be is very nice and I’m sure things will go off without a hitch. BUT - if they don’t - I will try to stay out of it and just be “good.”
I’ll let you know next week how it went.
I can remember in the last few years of my father’s life, when my mom and I were going to be gone for a few days, he would say, “I’ll try to be good.” Now, he meant it in the same way I just said for me. It meant he would try not to get mad at anyone and just “get along.” Usually I had him doing so many animal chores for me that he didn’t have time to not be good. It’s funny how family traits are passed down, isn’t it?
One more thing - the new “Pirates” movie starts Friday!!!!
Graduation was windy but very nice Friday night. Congratulations, BHS Class of 2011! Now go out and make it big!
Go to your happy place!
See you next week!
