This week I got to watch the National Geographic Channel film crew and ornithologist (bird expert) check out the blackbird roosting area over in Windwood for a couple of hours. It was fun. I’ve never really been around a film crew even though I do know a little bit about what goes on. Everyone in the media business has one thing in common - communicating. It was interesting to see how they go about it and it will be fun to see the finished product. As I said in the story in this issue, we will let you know when it will air so that you can watch it.
Did you feel the earthquake Sunday night?  I did - well I wouldn’t have except my mom came in and asked me if I felt the earthquake. I actually felt my bed shake but I thought one of my cats had just bumped into it. Happens all the time. But, wow! I couldn’t believe that so many people felt the 4.7 magnitude quake. I hope that they don’t get any bigger.
Have a great week!
Go to your happy place!
See you next week!
