Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas!!!!  I hope you are ready for Christmas!  This year the thing I want to do is just stay home and cook turkey and dressing. Usually, we go to 2 or 3 movies and just have fun on Christmas. But this year, we are just staying home, enjoying the cats, dogs, fish and, of course, each other. We may watch an old movie on television or just watch, for the 100th time, Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase.
I’ve heard the weather today (Tuesday) and they say that there is a slight chance of snow flurries on Christmas Eve. Wouldn’t that be fun to see? I don’t mind the flurries. I just don’t like the several feet of snow - not that we usually have several feet. Make that several inches. We do have that. If I can’t get in the car and get where I want to go- I believe it is claustrophobia that sets in. Thank goodness for my good neighbors - Gene Mahoney and his fleet of wreckers. They have given me a ride to my office on more than one occasion. The hardest part of traveling for me is getting down- and then back up - my driveway. That’s because we are almost the highest point in the city limits. Funny, huh? We are just about 10-12 feet above the average elevation of Beebe (which you know is not very high) so 10-12 feet is pretty high.
Anyway, I digress. Have a very stress-free, relaxing and blessed Christmas!
Go to your happy place!
See you next week!
