What’s Left? By Lee McLane Editor/Publisher

Sorry, didn’t have time to make the new photo this week so you’ll just have to imagine that Simba is not falling out of my arms.  He is rather heavy and kind of like holding a Slinky. He just slowly “flows” out of your grip.
I’m excited about the Badgers being in the play-offs! Good luck, Badgers! Beat Alma!  We’ll be playing here this Friday night. Let’s have a win!
My cats are loving watching the leaves fall from the trees. They must imagine they are all little mice falling from the skies (manna) - because they are so intent on each leaf they see floating down from the tree which is right outside of their screened-in porch. It’s funny to watch. I keep saying this and never have done it, but I’ve just got to video them doing some of these funny things and send it to America’s Funniest Home Videos. I might win cat food money. That would be great!
Changing subjects - my mom and I ate at Cafe Divine (in Moogollies) last night and their new chef, Chef Lewis Curtis, fixed us a great dish of steak, pasta and a light marinara sauce  made with fresh Arkansas Heirloom tomatoes. It was really good. I hope you can give it a try so Chef Lewie can fix you something great!  They’re also having a Hell’s Kitchen watch party - so if you’ve been watching that show - since Chef Lewie was on it - you might want to enjoy watching it out there where Chef Lewie will be fixing some of the signature dishes while you’re watching to see who gets sent home. It’s every Wednesday night at 7 p.m. until the show reaches the finale.
Once again, I’d like to say, “I’m glad all the political stuff is pretty much over - here in Beebe.”  I am ready to move on to the holidays!  Let’s get our minds on some positive stuff!

Go to your happy place.
See you next week!
