We toured the not-yet-opened Walmart last week with Manager Tim Hammack. He showed us the many stocked shelves, stocked freezer sections and empty shelves of the produce and deli section - which will obviously be stocked just prior to opening on August 2nd.  He said the Beebe Walmart is about 50,000 s.f. Health Dept. to Close July 22-26

Due to the Arkansas Department of Health converting to electronic health records this summer, the White County Health Department, with locations in both Searcy and Beebe, will be changing their regular business activities during the week of July 22-26, 2013, for the staff to receive computer training and updates.

Beebe School Board Approves Stipend Increases

The Beebe School Board met Thursday night, July 11th and approved stipend increases of 5% to all athletic stipends and voted to give an additional $2,000 stipend for those who earn the Master Principal designation.
